About the Beer City 20k Relay & 5k/10k
The race is set in Asheville, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and the whole thing is built around craft beer culture. The relay format lets you run with friends rather than solo, and the event is hosted at New Belgium Brewing, an east coast outpost of a Colorado-born brewery right in town.
The post-race scene is at the brewery itself, so there is no hunting for a bar afterward. The event sits inside Asheville Beer Week, so the surrounding days have their own momentum if you are making a trip of it.
