About the Beaufort Historic Rotary Road Race
The race runs through Beaufort's historic district, so the surroundings are older architecture and coastal streets rather than a park loop. The course is flat, which suits the seaside terrain, and the route puts the town itself on display. Pets on leashes are welcome, and wheelchair and baby jogger participants run alongside everyone else.
Packet pickup the evening before is at the Train Depot building on Broad Street. Race-morning pickup is at a parking lot on Front Street, close to the start. After the race, the after party moves to a bottle shop on Middle Lane, with food, a DJ, and activities for kids.
