About the Beaufort Bridge Run 5K & 1+ Mile Dog Strut

The course takes you over both bridges in Beaufort, including a high-rise span above Gallants Channel and a second crossing at Turner Street. The views from up there look out over Taylor's Creek and the historic waterfront, which is not something most road races can offer. Dogs join in on a separate shorter route; the high-rise bridge is off-limits to them.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Cru Wine Bar and Coffee Shop, with a second window on race morning at a nearby street corner in Beaufort. After the race, there is a post-race party at the Backstreet Pub, with beer, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Breakfast food is available nearby at Cru Coffee and Cafe, and the Olde Beaufort Farmers' Market opens not long after the finish.
