About the 17th Annual BEACHFRONT RUN
The course runs along the Ventura Promenade, right beside the coastline, so the ocean is with you the whole way. Several distance options make it a draw for a wide range of runners. Some sections narrow enough that strollers are asked to start toward the back, which gives you a sense of how the path feels on race morning.
Packet pickup happens the day before, with a race-morning option as well. You can switch distances through the evening before the race, either online or at pickup. Day-of registration is open, though arriving well before the start is the practical move. Vendors and a live music setup are part of the post-race scene near the finish.
