About the Beach2Bar 5K+ Run

The course starts on the sand at Stuart Beach and finishes at a bar. In between, you cross a couple of bridges, which means some elevation change but nothing sustained. The route is point-to-point, so there is no looping back on yourself. An afternoon start gives the whole thing a different feel than a typical early-morning race.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at Carsons Tavern, the same spot where the race ends. There is also a short window for pickup on race day before the start. The beach parking lot is the recommended place to leave your car, and shuttles run before and after the race. Post-race, there is BBQ, music, and an awards ceremony at the finish.
