About the Bay Bridge Walk/Run for a Cause
The course runs across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge on the eastbound span, point to point from one shore to the other. There is no looping back, no out-and-return: you cross and you are done. The views out over the water are the whole experience, and on a clear morning there is nothing else like it in the region.
No one parks at the start. Every runner boards a shuttle from a designated lot, wearing their bib, and gets screened before boarding. Packet pickup is spread across several days before the race at running stores and other spots around the area, with a full expo the day before at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. Spectators park separately and take their own shuttle to the finish.
