About the Bark n' Bolt 1K with the Pints and Pups Dog Expo
The course starts on a bridge, drops down through neighborhood streets, then picks up a creek trail for the final stretch back to the finish at a tap house. It is short by any measure, mostly flat, and runs on a mix of sidewalk and paved trail. Dogs run it too, and the top finishing dogs earn prizes.
The whole thing is part of a larger outdoor dog expo at the tap house, with a costume contest, breed trivia, live music, and food and drink specials all day. The start gathers near a large chair outside the venue, and no entry fee is required, though registration is requested so organizers can plan ahead.
