About the All-Out Runapalooza

The course runs along the Ralston Creek Trail, a paved path that follows the creek through open spaces and past golf course communities. The shorter distances head out and turn back for a downhill finish. The half marathon breaks away from the trail to take on the Blunn Reservoir loop, where the terrain gets harder and the views open up toward the mountains.

Early packet pickup is at a local running store the evening before the race. Race-morning pickup is also available, but each distance has a firm cutoff, so arriving with time to spare matters. The post-race setup moves to Colorado Tap House.

Finish-Time Stats

Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

Common Questions About the All-Out Runapalooza

Will I finish last at the All-Out Runapalooza?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 35:33, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:19:12, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the All-Out Runapalooza a good first 5K?

It is a small race (137 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the All-Out Runapalooza?

The 5K winner ran 16:45 while the median finisher took 35:33. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
