About the Bacon Run

The Bacon Run is exactly what the name suggests: there is bacon at the finish line. The race offers a couple of distance options, and a guided stretch session happens on the start line before the gun goes off. Age group awards go deep across the field, so runners toward the back of the pack have something to race for.

Packet pickup opens race morning, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. The race director plans to be out front and available, which tends to make a smaller event feel a little more personal than a big-city road race.
