About the Austin Solstice Circuit 52 Miler 50K Marathon 25K Half-Marathon 10K 5K 12-Hour Solo & Relay
The course at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis is a short paved loop through Hill Country oak trees, with almost no elevation change, run repeatedly to accumulate distance. The longer events start in the evening so the worst heat passes early, and the night portion brings cooler air off the lake. The USATF-certified marathon loop qualifies for Boston.
Packet pickup happens the evening before the race at the park, with a race-morning window available for those who cannot make the earlier slot. Personal pacers are welcome for the marathon and longer distances, joining partway through once runners are well into their effort. Each pacer needs a bib and pays a small park-entry fee at registration.
