About the Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk at the Flying Saucer
The route runs out from the Flying Saucer in downtown Houston and heads to Saint Arnold Brewing Company before turning back, so you finish where you started with a destination in the middle. Pace leaders spread across the pack, including someone at the back keeping stragglers moving. Rain does not cancel it; if the weather is bad enough to skip the run, the eating and drinking happen anyway.
Check-in is at the Flying Saucer before the run starts. After you finish, the post-race spread includes tamales from Texas Tamale Company and beers from Saint Arnold. Street parking nearby is free on Sundays. The patio at the Saucer has room to spread out after you get back.
