About the Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk
This one starts and ends at a beer bar in downtown Houston. The route heads out from the Flying Saucer, loops through the surrounding streets, and comes back. Pace leaders spread out through the group, so nobody gets left behind and nobody feels rushed. It is a run that ends with tamales and Saint Arnold beers at the bar.
Check-in opens at the Flying Saucer before the run starts. Parking in the area is free on Sundays. When the group gets back, breakfast from Texas Tamale Company and pints from Saint Arnold are waiting at the bar. The event runs rain or shine, and if the weather turns truly bad, the eating and drinking happen anyway.
