About the Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk
This is a social run through downtown Houston, starting and finishing at the Flying Saucer. The route goes out and comes back, keeping things simple and navigable. Pace leaders spread through the group from front to back, so no one is left behind. Saint Arnold Brewing Company is the beer sponsor, and tamales from a local tamale company are waiting when you return.
The Flying Saucer is the gathering point, and parking in the surrounding downtown area is free on Sundays. The morning doubles as a packet pickup opportunity for the Art Car IPA 5K, so you can take care of both in one stop. The run goes rain or shine, and if the weather turns bad, the food and beer still happen inside.
