About the Art Car IPA 5K Social Run/Walk
This one starts and ends at the Flying Saucer in downtown Houston. The route is an out-and-back through the streets, roughly a 5K, with pace leaders spread through the pack so nobody gets left behind. Rain or shine, the run happens, and if the weather is truly bad, the eating and drinking happen anyway.
Check-in is at the Flying Saucer before the start. Afterward, the group comes back to the bar for tamales from Texas Tamale Company and beers from Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Street parking nearby is free on Sundays, which makes the logistics pretty simple.
