About the Arlington Turkey Trot 5K
The course winds through the Lyon Park and Ashton Heights neighborhoods on Thanksgiving morning, so the streets have that quiet holiday feel. It is a road race through residential Arlington, the kind of route where people are out on their porches and driveways cheering in their coats.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at a local church, with an early race-morning option as well. The start area is near Lyon Park Community Center, which keeps things easy to find and easy to navigate.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
