About the 2026 Annual HBA Eikenburg 8K Fun Run
This is an annual Houston road race that includes both a timed run and a family walk option. The run gets underway in the morning, with the walk starting shortly after, making the event feel like two things happening on the same course at the same time. A wheelchair division goes off just ahead of the main field.
Packet pickup opens before the start, and timing details are sent to registered participants by email in the week leading up to race day. A post-race party follows the run, so there is reason to hang around after you finish.

The 2026 Annual HBA Eikenburg 8K Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
