About the Anderson Area YMCA Reindeer Run
The Anderson Area YMCA puts this one on as a holiday-themed morning, and festive headgear is part of the culture here. Runners are encouraged to show up in costume, so the start area tends to look more like a holiday parade than a typical race morning. Several distance options mean the whole family can participate at whatever level suits them.
Packet pickup runs the day before at the YMCA front entrance, under the awning, with a morning-of option as well. All registration is handled online beforehand, so you will not be filling out paperwork at the start. Collect your bib and get in line with the reindeer horns crowd.

The Anderson Area YMCA Reindeer Run has been held every year since at least 2018. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
