About the Amica Insurance Women's Classic 5K Run & 3K Walk
The course runs through the East Side of Providence, starting from a university stadium and looping through a historic neighborhood. The roads are flat throughout, which draws a range of paces. There is a kids' race and a health and wellness fair on site, so the start area tends to feel busy well before the run begins.
Packet pickup the day before is at a local running store on North Main Street. Race-morning pickup opens at the stadium, where registration is also available. Strollers are allowed for walkers but must line up at the back; dogs are not permitted on the course or inside the track gates.
