About the Brightstar Downtown 5K

The course runs through downtown Providence, starting on Memorial Boulevard. The surroundings are urban, with the wide streets of a city center on a quiet race morning. Youth races go off first, so the start area has small kids finishing up before the main field lines up. Walkers are welcome and start at the back.

Packet pickup happens over the two days before the race at Marathon Sports inside Providence Place mall, with a race-morning option at the same spot if you need it. Parking is available at the Providence Place lots, which puts you steps from both pickup and the start area.
