The course takes you through several distinct neighborhoods along Absecon Island, moving from the casino strip on the Boardwalk out into quieter beachside towns before looping back. The shift in atmosphere is noticeable: loud and bright near the water's edge downtown, then calm residential streets a few miles later. It is a road race with a real sense of place.
