About the St. Pat's Boardwalk 10 miler & 5k run

The entire course runs on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, never touching a street. Both distances start and finish at Ocean Casino Resort, with the ocean alongside for the whole route. The longer distance goes north to the inlet, then south into Ventnor and back, passing the start area midway through. The shorter distance is a straight out-and-back heading south toward Ventnor.

Packet pickup happens race morning on the boardwalk outside Ocean Casino Resort, and if the weather is rough, it moves inside the casino. Free parking is available in the casino's garage, with a voucher attached to your bib.

Common Questions About the St. Pat's Boardwalk 10 miler & 5k run

Will I finish last at the St. Pat's Boardwalk 10 miler & 5k run?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 31:50, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:07:53, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the St. Pat's Boardwalk 10 miler & 5k run a good first 3.1 Miles?

A field of 279 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the St. Pat's Boardwalk 10 miler & 5k run?

The 3.1 Miles winner ran 18:05 while the median finisher took 31:50. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
