About the Alpha Kappa Psi - Psi Kappa Ocean Conservation 5K
This point-to-point route runs along the Great Highway, hugging the western edge of the city with the ocean in view the whole way. It starts near a skate park at Sunset Dunes and finishes at the Cliff House, so the scenery does the heavy lifting. The terrain is flat and coastal, and the finish puts you right on the water.
The race is organized by a business fraternity chapter and benefits ocean conservation through a charity mileage app rather than a standard entry fee. Participants are asked to join the group on that app ahead of race day. The event welcomes current members, alumni, and guests.
