About the Howlin' Moon 2026
The Howlin' Moon is a school fun run held at Little Marina Green, right along the San Francisco waterfront. Several distance options cover a range of ages and abilities, from an untimed stroll open to anyone to a timed race for adults and students alike. The surroundings are flat and open, with the bay close by.
The morning opens with a group warm-up and music before the races get going. Afterward, there is a celebratory awards ceremony on site. Post-race snacks round out the finish area. Packet pickup and check-in happen race morning at the green.
