About the Alex's 5K Run/Walk & Kids' K

Alex's 5K is held at Avondale House, the school Alex Jamrich attended. The race honors his life and raises money for autism charities and services. It started the year after he passed, and every dollar of net proceeds goes to autism-based organizations. There is also a kids' distance and a virtual option for those running from elsewhere.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet on Greenbriar Drive, with race-morning pickup available as well. The start area is at Avondale House on O'Meara Drive, and the schedule staggers the kids' start before the main event gets underway.
