About the ALBUQUERQUE MARATHON + HALF MARATHON, 10K, 5K AND KIDS K
The course runs along the Rio Grande and through the North Valley Bosque, a cottonwood corridor that follows the river. The Sandia Mountains sit on the horizon for much of the route. The terrain is paved and flat throughout, which draws runners chasing a personal best. Several distance options make it a reasonable choice for people at different points in their training.
Packet pickup happens at a local running store in the days before the race, with a second pickup location available the evening before at another running shop across town. On race day, the start is on a side street just outside a church that serves as the main hub, with parking and post-race activity nearby.
