About the Ahlyza's Fight 5K
This race is held in honor of Ahlyza and other women living with Metastatic Breast Cancer, and that purpose is felt throughout the morning. The course runs along a road that closes for the race, keeping the route clear. The pace is whatever you want it to be, and the atmosphere reflects the cause rather than the clock.
Parking is in a designated lot at Knob Hill Pavilion, and the organizers ask that you arrive early before the road closes at the start. After the race, food trucks and live music fill the post-race area, and there are ways to support the cause beyond just running.
