About the AdventHealth Lake Apopka Scenic Trail 30K Run, 8 Miler & 5K
The course runs out and back along the northern shore of Lake Apopka, starting and finishing at Magnolia Park. Underfoot it is mostly hard-packed limestone, with patches of grass, dirt, and gravel. The surroundings are open and wild, with birds, alligators, and other wildlife visible along the water's edge. Several distance options cover different stretches of the same trail.
This is a cupless event, so bring a water pack or handheld bottle. Hydration stations are spaced along the longer course with water and snacks. At the finish, the post-race spread includes bananas, chips, cookies, sodas, and hot food.
