The course winds through a small town that closes its roads for the morning. The route is well-marked and passes through a quiet residential area, with a single water stop that you hit on the way out and again on the way back. It closes out a local race series, so the crowd at the finish tends to be full of familiar faces.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at Dash Sports in downtown Clermont, with race-morning pickup available near the start. At the finish, JB Boondocks provides draft beer or soft drinks, and there is hot cocoa when the weather calls for it. A men's club runs a pancake breakfast nearby to benefit local charities.
