About the AdventHealth Howey-in-the-Hills 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
The courses run along the shore of Little Lake Harris and loop through the grounds of the historic Howey Mansion before finishing at JB Boondocks on the water. Longer distances push out onto Buckhill Road, where the terrain earns the tagline about hills. These are genuine rolling roads through quiet countryside, not a flat tourist-district course.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at Dash Sports in Clermont, with race-morning pickup available at the venue for those who miss it. Half Marathon runners have an earlier cutoff that morning. Parking is at the Lake County Resource Center on Palm Avenue, directly across from JB Boondocks where the race ends. Guests at Mission Resort have a shuttle option.
