About the Mount Dora Half Marathon & 5K
Mount Dora sits on a series of gentle hills, and the course uses them honestly. The route follows waterfront neighborhoods and lake-hugging roads, with Spanish moss in the trees overhead and water visible for much of the way. The half marathon runs as a single loop; the shorter distance runs a day earlier. Both start near Donnelly Street in the center of town.
Packet pickup is spread across the weekend, with race-morning pickup available as a backup. Food and refreshments are set up at the finish. Pets and wheeled devices are not permitted on the course or in the start and finish areas.
