About the Zoo Run Run at Nashville Zoo

The course winds through Nashville Zoo's property, including areas that are closed to regular visitors. Some of it is off-road, so expect packed trail alongside whatever paved paths the zoo uses for daily foot traffic. The route passes animal exhibits, though which animals are out depends on the weather and the animals themselves.

Packet pickup is available in the days before the race and again on race day, though arriving early matters here: pre-race activities, stretching sessions, a zipline, a carousel, and a theater are all part of the morning. Spectators are kept to a central festival area near the start and finish, while runners get access to the restricted paths.
