About the Zombie Half Marathon
The Zombie Half Marathon follows coastal and creek trails in Anchorage late in the season, when conditions can be anything. The organizers are upfront that weather will not cancel the race. Costumes are part of the culture here, and most people show up dressed for it, which gives the whole morning a different feel than a typical trail race.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
