About the Snow Globe Run
The course runs out and back along Campbell Creek Trail, starting and finishing behind the Peanut Farm restaurant. It stays flat the whole way, with no real climbing. Snow is part of the deal here, and a snowshoe option lets you swap your running shoes if the trail calls for it. A costume contest with a zoo animal theme happens before the start.
Bib pickup runs the evening before the race at the Peanut Farm, with a second window race morning before the start. Parking is in the overflow lot adjacent to the start area. After you finish, you can head over to the Alaska Zoo on your race bib, which gets you daytime admission.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Snow Globe Run has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
