About the Zeeco Furnace 5K

The course runs along the Arkansas River on a paved trail, starting and finishing at River West Festival Park. It is an evening race, so you get the heat of a summer night rather than a morning cool-down. The route is flat the whole way, with the river on one side and the city skyline visible across the water.

Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at a sports bar inside a local ice center on Yale Avenue, with race-evening pickup available at the registration tent. Parking is at the festival park itself, with overflow lots nearby if the main lot fills. Arrive with time to walk from wherever you land. There is post-race beer for those of legal drinking age.
