This is a Thanksgiving morning race that starts at the Pueblo YMCA on Spaulding Avenue. The distance is short enough to finish well before the holiday meal. Proceeds go toward scholarship funds that cover memberships and programs for families who could not otherwise afford them, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the race itself. A shorter fun run for kids runs alongside the main event.
