About the Wordless Book Fun Run 5k/1 Mile Run/1 Mile Walk
This is an untimed event, though there is a clock at the finish line. The distances range from a short walk to a 5k, so the morning moves at whatever pace works for you. Proceeds benefit Child Evangelism Fellowship, which gives the day a clear purpose beyond the run itself.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at Glen Memorial Baptist Church, and again on race morning at a second church property nearby. At the start and finish area, donuts and cider are out for everyone, and there are lawn games and a bounce house for kids.
