About the Woolaroc 8K
The course runs through Woolaroc Wildlife Preserve, a working preserve outside Bartlesville with buffalo roaming the grounds. The preserve has a hard gate-closure time on race morning, so plan to arrive with time to spare. The route is USATF certified with electronic timing, and the museum serves as both the start and finish.
Packet pickup happens the evening before at a location announced closer to the race. On race day, parking at the museum is free, and runners and their guests can walk through the museum and lodge after finishing. Buffalo burgers and other food are available for purchase at the finish area.
