About the Shamrock the 'Ville 5K
The course winds through historic downtown Bartlesville and is USATF certified. It is chip-timed, which means results are accurate even if you get caught behind a crowd of people in green wigs at the start. Costumes are a real part of the event, and there are prizes for the best ones, alongside age-group and overall awards.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local partner location, which is worth knowing if you want to skip the race-morning line. The race raises money for Mary Martha Outreach, a local nonprofit, so the entry fee goes somewhere tangible. The start area is at a downtown intersection, easy to find on foot.
