About the Woodside Ramble
The course runs through two county parks, moving from stream-cut canyons under a canopy of old redwoods up into mixed evergreen forest and out onto a drier ridgeline covered in manzanita and chaparral. The climbing is real, and the single-track gets narrow and twisting near the top. Deer and coyotes are common enough that spotting one mid-run barely breaks your stride.
Bib pickup runs race morning before the first wave goes off, so there is no need to come out the day before. Dogs are not allowed in either park, so leave them home.

The Woodside Ramble has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 26, 2026.
