About the Crystal Springs Trail Run
The courses here run through Huddart Park, climbing into redwood forest and fern-lined single track. The shorter options stay mostly on dirt road with some paved sections, while the longer distances push deep into the trees on trail that is almost entirely single track. The elevation gain grows substantially as the distances get longer, so there is real climbing involved at every level.
Check-in opens race morning at the Werder Shelter in Huddart Park. Arrive with some cushion before your start. There is a parking fee, and the organizers ask for exact change at the gate. Dogs are not allowed in the park, and there is no bag check, though small items can be left unattended at the start and finish area.
