About the Women's Four Miler Training Program
This is a group training program built around preparing for a local four-mile race, organized by a physical therapy practice on a volunteer basis. Sessions meet on consecutive mornings at a high school track, and each week pairs running or walking workouts with talks on women's health topics. All paces and experience levels are welcome, including those returning from time away from exercise.
The track complex has parking and restrooms on site. Proceeds from registration go to a breast care center at the local university hospital. The program also offers a virtual option for those who cannot make the in-person sessions, with plans sent by email.
