About the WOCA's Run, Rock, & Stroll
The route winds through Greenfield Park on paved paths, starting and finishing near the Cool Waters Pavilion. It is not a timed race. People come for all kinds of reasons, some honoring someone they lost, some walking as survivors themselves, some just showing up in support. Dogs on leash are welcome, and so are strollers and wheelchairs.
The morning has a children's run, a group stretch, and music before the main event gets going. Awards go to top pledge fundraisers and the captain of the largest team, so the competitive element is as much about community support as it is about the course itself.
