About the Jingle Bell 5K Hustle & 1K Dash
The course runs through Greenfield Park, so expect paved paths with some open green space around you. Dogs are welcome on the course, which makes for an entertaining crowd of participants. The race benefits the YMCA and supports local families through a couple of its programs, so there is a clear reason the proceeds are going somewhere specific.
Santa is on hand at the finish area, and there is a letter-writing station and a photo spot set up near him. Warm cocoa and a commemorative mug are waiting at the finish line. Holiday music plays at the start and finish, which sets the tone for the whole morning.
