About the 2nd Annual Withlacoochee River 5k Run/Walk
The course runs through Withlacoochee River Park on marked trails, with signage and monitors keeping everyone on track. The organizers describe it as fun and challenging, and the route is different from the previous year's, so even returning runners will see new angles of the park.
The race wraps up with an awards ceremony and a Gospel presentation, followed by a shared meal out on the trails. A shorter distance option is available for those who want it, and a virtual option exists for anyone who cannot make it in person.
