The course runs through Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, weaving past animal habitats and native plantings. It is a short route, but there is enough to look at that the distance goes quickly. Hydration is available along the way and again at the finish. The race runs on Thanksgiving morning, which gives it a particular kind of energy.
