About the Wild Turkey 3 Miler

The course runs out and back through a stretch of West Monroe streets, turning through a handful of residential and light-industrial blocks before doubling back to the start. It is a straightforward route with no significant elevation to worry about, and the out-and-back shape means you cover the same ground twice, which makes pacing easy.

Packet pickup the evening before is at a Fleet Feet location in Monroe, with race-morning pickup available if you cannot make it. The organizers encourage the earlier pickup. A portion of what runners pay goes to a local ministry.
