About the Wild Bill 5k

The Wild Bill 5k runs through the Seven Oaks and Stonehenge neighborhood in Raleigh, on a USATF-certified course. It honors a longtime local coach and swimmer who ran every day regardless of the heat, and that spirit shapes the morning. The route is mapped and certified, so competitive runners get a real result.

Everything happens at Seven Oaks Swim and Racquet Club, including packet pickup before race day and again on race morning. Parking on site is cut off before the start, so the organizers point people toward street parking on Stonehenge Drive and a nearby church lot on Creedmoor Road. After the race, there is breakfast, a DJ, beer, and access to the pool.
