About the Wicked Wild Frightnight 5K
This one runs at night, which changes the whole feel of a 5K. The course moves through the streets of Plantation before finishing in Central Park, where a Halloween party is waiting. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a contest with several categories, from horror to couples to best overall.
The post-race scene at Central Park is the draw beyond the run itself. Vendor stations along the course hand out candy, and the finish-line bash is set up for families and kids as much as for runners. If you are bringing a pet or a group in matching costumes, this is built for that.
