About the Wicked Halloween Runs
The course runs through Maybury State Park on wooded trails, with winding paths through fall foliage. Halloween decorations are placed along the route, and costumes are part of the culture here. It is a trail race through real woods, so expect uneven ground and the occasional root.
Packet pickup runs the day before, and again on race morning before the start. Parking is inside the state park only, in designated lots, and a state park pass is required to enter. Have it ready at the gate.
