About the Wicked 5K & 10K
The course runs along coastal roads out of Kennebunk, so expect salt air and open views rather than trail or track. It is a fall race, and the surroundings tend to look the part. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a contest for them, which gives the start line a different energy than most road races.
Packet pickup is the evening before at Federal Jack's brewpub, with a second window race morning. Post-race, the party stays at Federal Jack's, with local beer on tap and live music starting shortly after finishers come in.
